Southampton, UK, 3 May 2016: The Water Supplies Department (WSD) of Hong Kong, the organisation responsible for providing water to more than seven million people living across the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, has approved a new data logging system from i2O, the smart water network company selected by specialist Innopipe Engineering Co Ltd, to measure the performance of its water supply network.

WSD is to deploy dNet, a new data logging system from i2O, as part of a hydraulic modelling project with consultants Black & Veatch and Innopipe Engineering Co Ltd. Loggers will be deployed throughout the Kowloon region of Hong Kong to record and transmit detailed water network performance data relating to water demand, flow and pressure. Some i2O loggers are also being deployed permanently in the Kowloon region of WSD’s network.
